This two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course will help you build a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care, and prepare you to administer first aid in a wilderness setting in the context of a short trip with family, friends, and outdoor groups. It also meets the American Camping Association (ACA) guidelines. SOLO CPR certification is included.

Initially offered in 1975 by SOLO Schools this course was the first of its kind in the United States, and it is the curriculum upon which all other backcountry medicine courses are based.

Wilderness First Aid is a great course for all outdoor enthusiasts: mountain bikers, hikers, climbers, backpackers, backcountry skiers, and other outdoor enthusiasts who venture out for day and weekend trips.

It is also a great professional development opportunity for all outdoor industry professionals, including outdoor excursion leaders who require a basic level of first aid training.

The nationally recognized SOLO WFA certification, which is good for two years.
