The two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is SOLO's most popular, creating a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care. Initially offered in 1975, this course was the first of its kind in the United States, and it is the curriculum upon which all other backcountry medicine courses are based. This is a great course for mountain bikers, hikers, climbers, backpackers, backcountry skiers and other outdoor enthusiasts who venture out for day and weekend trips. SOLO CPR certification is included.

This is the perfect training program for outdoor enthusiasts, outdoor industry professions, and outdoor excursion leaders who require a basic level of first aid training. The training will prepare you to administer first aid in a wilderness setting in the context of a short trip with family, friends, and outdoor groups. It also meets the ACA guidelines.

All outdoor adventure education courses require submission of a Health History & Physical Exam Attestation Form prior to registration.

Must be 18 years or older.

The nationally recognized SOLO WFA certification, which is good for two years.
