In this workshop, midwifery students will learn about perineal lacerations, obstetrical repair, and wound healing in home-based and community-based settings. Suturing is an essential skill in the out of hospital birth setting, and this six-hour workshop provides an essential opportunity to practice and perfect this skill. This hands-on course, guided by experienced professionals, is crucial for midwives seeking to remain up to date and proficient with these valuable skills and will help them offer safe, effective perineal care.
