Phlebotomy Certification Course
Train to perform phlebotomy procedures in a healthcare setting! Learn about infection control, the circulatory system, blood collection procedures and more. This training program includes a required clinical lab rotation with a regional employer partner.
This program is an 8-week hybrid course. The first week will be fully online. Starting Week 2, students attend weekly in-person labs on Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm at GCC. There will also be externship rotations during the program, with an exact schedule to be determined. There is a 100% attendance requirement.
Participation in this program is dependent on the results of a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check. For more information regarding CORI checks for Workforce Development programs, visit this page.
Must have a high school diploma or GED/high school equivalency.
