The four-week Foundational Manufacturing training will prepare you for immediate employment for an entry-level position as a production worker, assembly technician, or shipping and receiving clerk at a manufacturing company. Successfully completing the course will prepare you for advancement into Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator training. The program includes OSHA 10 certification, as well as training in manufacturing math, blueprint reading, and metrology.
GCC’s manufacturing programs are offered through a partnership between GCC, Franklin County Technical School, the Franklin-Hampshire Regional Employment Board and Career Centers, area manufacturing companies and community partners to develop and implement new training programs to meet the growing demand in manufacturing.
Veterans, women, unemployed and other under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Eligible veterans, dependents and active military members can now use GI Bill funding for this training. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Students who successfully complete this training can gain immediate employment in an entry-level position as a production worker, assembly technician, or shipping and receiving clerk at a manufacturing company. Nearly 100% of GCC’s manufacturing graduates get job offers within 6 months of completing their training. Students who successfully complete this training may advance into Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator training.
