Applied Pharmacology for Midwives

Overview

GCC is excited to announce a series of MEAC-approved continuing education units (CEUs) for certified professional midwives in the region! Any CPM in need of continued professional development and/or any CPMs pursuing provisional state licensure in Massachusetts is encouraged to enroll in one or more of these CEU courses. All CEUs, if taken together, constitute 50 CEU contact hours that satisfy NARM's requirement for a Midwifery Bridge Certificate.

Stay up to date on the latest medication safety and best practices as they relate to the role of the midwife in a home birth or community birth setting. Pharmacology is an ever evolving landscape, making this CEU offering essential for new and experienced midwives alike. A fluent understanding of pharmacology is necessary for practicing midwives in all settings.

This course will be held remote via Zoom.
