As more and more clients of advanced maternal age (AMA) are choosing homebirths, it is imperative that Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) have an understanding of the evidence-based risks and factors that come into play with AMA. This comprehensive workshop provides an overview of the most essential concepts related to AMA and their implications regarding pregnancy and birth to help CPMs provide true evidence-based care to their clients and ensure safe outcomes. This knowledge is also imperative for transparent collaborative care.
