Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator training is an advanced manufacturing training program that will prepare you for a career as a precision machinist, with the potential to earn up to $75,000 annually. The training includes: CNC programming, blueprint reading, introduction to CAD, CNC mill operations, and CNC lathe operations.

  • Successful completion of Foundation Manufacturing and/or passing the MACWIC 1 exam
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • 18 years or older 
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Students who successfully complete this training can gain immediate employment as a machinist. Nearly 100% of GCC’s manufacturing graduates get job offers within 6 months of completing their training.
